A very unique looking trunk and an excellent composition that makes for a striking image despite the poor weather! Very well shot, Ganesh!

Only ONE comment?! Geesh... This is certainly a powerful-- and beautiful-- image about man and nature. Great perspective, the fog, the detail in the trunk. It gives me thought that a human cut down the only tree for miles around... I love it. Thanks for showing it. And congrats on the Pick, too!

Good forum moderating!

Nicely composed and the details in both the trunk and the grass put it over the top. The foggy background also adds to the image. Congratulations on the MP! Well deserved.

Hi Ganesh,

It takes a talented photographer to transform a simple stump into a piece of art, but you pulled it off with ease - excellent work.I'm a sucker for soft, muted tones, so this image works very well for me.

Thanks for sharing it.

Cheers...

Brad
