Taking It All In

This is an image of my wife who I asked to stand out on this rock in the middle of everything - the problem she got stuck out there as I fiddled around forever trying to get it right. There was not going to be a sunset again so I choose to shoot the storm that came in minutes after this was shot. This was just a fun shot to remember the trip by. Please be easy on me !

Nice image. I like the fact that the camera is relatively low and close to the water. That gives the wave motion some real energy.

Very moody image, love the inclusion of the figure on the right.

This is a very effective composition. Almost monochrome, it gets its power from the movement of the water.

I have seen so many people stuck on that rock.....usually they just say screw it and jump in.......it's so funny to watch.....

This is a great photo, and even though its pretty gray, it works well......I love the sweeping motion of the water......I can't wait to get to the beach this weekend!!!

Nice composition, Kevin. I trust that your wife has forgiven for sticking her on that rock while the waters and storm rushed in.

Nice sense of motion. I'm not a fan of ultra smooth water but it does work here.

Nice going,

Carol

This feels so dynamic and alive - that rushing water really does it. A well deserved EP.
