After a recent ice storm I had a blast wandering around shooting frozen things. Until I became one myself.

Nikon F100, 200/4 macro, 81B filter, Velvia, tripod.

Simple, but effective shot. I like the monocromatic tones, including the background. I can't believe you call this a weed - I think it's very attractive.

This has a sort of warm/cool effect to it. Cold subject with warm tones makes for an interesting image. Another word.....BRRRRRRRRR! It is upon us isn't it?
