Taken 2 weeks ago in the Smokies in Cades Cove. The morning frog had left hoarfrost all over everything.

Way cool Matthew (no pun intended). This just 'feels' nice. I love the misty tree, and the fence and grasses are great.

Very nice, very subtle. The fencerow just walks you all the way through.

Not a single bold pixel in this one, yet a strong image. A pleasure to look at.

Matthew: I'm not certain why, but this image strikes me as one of your best efforts ever and one of the best I've seen on the site in a long time. While that may seem like effusive praise, this is one of those rare images that has superb composition, excellent vision, and capture of the moment. Yet it is also a scene that can be found any number of places in rural America. I'll go out on a limb and predict that this will end up as an EP for the year finalist. Great effort, great result. ><>
