WC#114 - First Communion

A late entry on the WC...

A friend and her daughter hiked up a nearby hill to take this portrait of her for her First Communion.

Shot on a Nikon n90s w/ 28-70 2.8 / Velvia / 3 stop GND / Nikon Sb24 w/ softbox on SC17 cord, off camera, and bastard amber lee filter gel on flashhead (held Up Right), while mom held a 18" Photoflex Circular White Reflector (Held down Mid Left).

Thanks for looking.

(BTW - I do use a small softbox on my flash head and / or reflector as part of my nature photo gear.)

Good job with the illumination. Man, you couldn't ask for a better backdrop. Well thought out image and masterfully executed.

Gary: I would have never seen this if it hadn't made EP.

GREAT image, well done. If I can nit anything, I would like to see some light bounced onto the flowers as well.

Great work!
