This is wonderful Leann! There's wonderful depth in the reflections. B&W works well with it. I wonder if it would be stronger without the tufts of grass on the left? Either way, very good image!

A very contemplative image IMO. I like the B&W treatment. I like the inclusion of the tufts of grass on the left as it seems to help balance the image. Nicely done and intrepreted.

Neat Leann! Took me a second or two to get my bearings and what a pleasant feeling when I got it all figured out. I love how the tree is just ever so slightly touching the water. Almost looks like a toned image...nice look and feel all around.

Thanks everyone..I think the grass on the side does offer some grounding for the viewer to get their bearings and it was the shimmer/reflection under the branch canopy that drew me in like a moth to a flame. Thank you for looking

Leann, I have to say I am impressed with your vision and the progression of your work - you seem to have skipped right past the stage of trying to immitate others and your images have a very personal/interpretive side to them. More than just beautiful elements, this (and others) feels like you are trying to tell a story or relate a very unique feeling.

This is a very unusual image. And I have to keep looking at it to figure it out. Great contrast in tones and textures. There is a lot to explore here.

Guy,
Thank you for the encouraging feedback and you forging your own style is a good reassurance to keep doing so. Also I have an external conscience who is close enough to me to "let me know" when I am not pushing myself or conveying something.
Thank you for your time.
Michael,
That is a good thing-keep looking

Leann, this is a beaut. I really like the overhang. The dark reflection with the lighter reflection behind it. I'd like to see this one in person
Good image. Good vision. Thanks for sharing

This really is quite nice, Leann. I love these types of images...once I take notice of all the elements I quickly forget about them and enter a more dream like state. The highlights in the river just pull me right in.

leanne,
a very contemplative shot indeed.
amazing how a simple place can turn into something so wonderful!
I love those shots that don' t jump right out, and it takes a talented eye to make something out of it.

Very good B&W work, the almost IR tones make it lightweight @the top, and heavy @the bottom, and the photo is well composed, kind of natural framing. Congrats to EP :-)
