Looking after Mom

This was taken several years back on a trip to Churchill. We had some nice sun while out on the tundra buggy and came across a sow with two cubs. The cubs were suckling and when they were done Mom lay down and had a nap....one of the cubs took it upon itself to act as a lookout while the 40 winks happened.

Canon EOS1N, 300mm, 1.4, 1/250, f11, Kodak VS film, scanned on a Nikon Coolscan.

Kind regards
Graeme

Very nice shot. The snow seems very blue for being in sunshine.

Awesome shot! I really like the light and the blue cast in the snow. It really makes the bears pop out.

Very sweet. I do like the coloring and the fine facial detail. Well done, Graeme.
