Just received a copy of Painter lX.5 and thought I'd try it out. What do you think?

I really like this composition of the bluebird, especially with the tall grasses and the warm coloured background. Personally I'm not crazy about the effects, but that's just me :). Great image!.

I love the old stump and grasses done in this effect, and the colours are fantastic, but not sure if it's the right bird for this effect though, but thats only a thought. I could see an owl, hawk or something a bit more rugged being perfect in this effect, I think the bluebird might be a bit delicate.

Thanks to everyone for your kind words and encouragement! Learning a new program isn't really what I need right now, but the program intrigues me. The original image was taken in Yellowstone last fall. Thanks again.
