This photo was taken by a client of mine while on a canyoneering trip outside Moab, Utah. By the looks of the snapshots she sent to me, she should have been the one getting paid to produce the photos! This is one of many really great images she made on this trip of me, the guy who is always on the other side of the lens.

This IS a fantastic shot Bret! Very sharp & vibrant! She did a great job! And it looks like you're having fun being in that precarious spot!!

It's GREAT to be back out west. This is definitely home.

John: Not all the canyons are this rough on the knees. This particular canyon happens to be a "technical" canyon, involving lots of stemming across slots, some wading through mucky water and two rappels. Little Wildhorse and Bell Canyons near Goblin Valley are equally beautiful and don't involve any knee twisting to speak of.

Very cool shot, Bret. Are these the new 5.10 canyoneering sandals with the C4 soles?

Hi Bret, Nice to see you in a strange contortion! :wavey: That looks a bit difficult to get into and out of. I don't think I could manage it.

Hi Bret - better watch that first step..... wouldn't want the next picture to be of you stuck in a crack like a cork in a bottle. Great picture - thanks for posting.
