Shot from Highway 80, west of Green River. This is a place I have passed and stopped by many times. I like it and was lucky to have a cooperative sky. Digital stitching with PTgui. I took overlapping images, butthere was some problem with the whole series, so this is only about 3 to 4 of the original series which was 7 shots. There was a lot more on the left and right, but Ineed to refine my learning in this stitching program to make the larger image.
Canon 5D. I have no idea whythe camera registered 14.3mm when I was uAutosing the 16-35 lens, but here is the data from the shot
14.3mm
1/500 sec, f/4
Mode: Program
Metering: Multi-segment
ISO: 50
White balance:

This is very nice. The colors are nice and the sky does work well.

We have a green river in Washington... the surroundings don't look anything like this! Looks great Steve...

You may have more success with multi-image panos if you shoot the series with Manual exposure and Manual focus.

The clouds really helped to subdue the contrast, and that seems to have brought out the more subtle colors. Nice shot.
