Taken this evening up in the Dalles today. The sun was dropping, casting shadows on the colorful fields...all in all, cool to experience.

Fantastic colors, the fence in the foreground gives depth.

I just love the play of curves and shadows here. The simple blocks of color work great as a composition.

I was thinking the road needed to be changed to Hudon Mountain Road...but now maybe Lundh Mountain Road sounds better?
All joking aside, I am pleased with the outcome of this, and I think worth taking a day off from a super busy work schedule, driving over 300 miles round trip yesterday, was worth it. Man, does this place change with the right light, or what!

The amount of contrast is seen very well. Cool rolling hills-No wonder you played hookie.

I concur! This is sweet... hills of gold, peppered with lupine! The fence makes a perfect frame for the flowers. Nicely done.

Very nice Rick we don't get swathes of colour like this over here unless you include rape fields.

This is gorgeous Rick. I'm gonna have to get out of ESS a little more often - beautiful stuff over here. Your comp is downright perfect, and the scene speaks for itself. Beautiful. Congrats on your EP - well deserved.
