Australian Sea Lions
by Cay-Uwe Kulzer
Again an image out of the 5000+ slides that I have scanned a few weeks ago. I made this image back in 1991, during a 6 week trip across Australia. The image was made at Seal Bay, Kangoroo Isalnd. This bay holds a big population of the australian sea lions. A ranger will guide a group of no more then 12 people in a 45 minute tour through the bay. One will have to photograph what ever comes across, since the tour is very restrictive from the timing and amount of daily visitors...
Contax RTS II, Sigma APO 5.6/400, F8, 1/250s, Velvia, monopod
Scanned with Nikon CoolScan 5000ED
PhotoShop levels, USM, about 10% crop all around...
