Ice formation is a small bit of "run off". Miramichi NB Canada. I liked the patterns formed by the natural flow, added a frame. Thanks, Tim

I think this is an intriguing composition and beautiful presentation. I'm drawn to the soft curves of the ice channel.

Wow fantastic image! Would love to see it bigger. I think the frame detracts though...this is a stand alone image IMO.

I'm with ALice...the image is great without the frame. Love the ice formations.

Tim, the frame reminds me of a frosted glass matte (if there is such a thing). I think it works well with the ice formation. I too like the patterns.

This is really lovely, Tim - it could be on the cover of Coldwater Creek! I'm not sure about the frame.....I think it tends to compete with the image rather than add to it. Thanks for sharing!

Awesome image, I like it a lot
The image is so striking that the frame does not contribute

Well done, Timothy, beautiful composition. Ditto on the heavy black frame.

I agree with the others. A very fine photograph as you have framed it, but it will certainly stand on its own without the elaborate borders. Audubon calendar material!
