I liked the pose and setting, but perhaps a bit too noisy.  Too tight on top?

Thanks for looking.  Your comments and suggestions are appreciated.

Hi Allen:

I too like the pose and the setting for this Dipper.  Just where they like to hang out.
To answer the questions you posed... I think it would be better with a bit more room on top.  Noise:  Not too bad.  Doesn't really show in this kind of image.

There is something that looks like a cloning issue near the top and just the left of center.  Looking at the larger version, it looks like feathers.

An excellent image of this American Dipper.  The repost is definitely an improvement.  I don't think this is noisy at all but it might be a tiny bit dark due to the weather conditions.  Larger image is better.

It doesn't look too noisy to me Allen.  Superb detail in the bird and a nice pose.  I've never been able to get close to one of these.  It does seem a bit tight on the top.  The repost is an improvement.  It doesn't look dark to me.  Any brighter and the bird would look way too pale.

Very nice image - and the re-post is much better.
Nice pose from this fellow, bright eye, and typical, illustrative  habitat.
