This Great Egret landed and pushed the Snowy out of the way to eat 1 crab and 6 small fish.  The shot was cropped by 10% and I adjusted the blacks, clarity and saturation, in LightRoom 5.

Nice composition, Peter.  Interesting story as well.  The almost black and white look of this is pretty cool.

The Great Egret is sharp, with good feather definition. The Snowy Egret is a bit soft and dark.

A very nice shot, showing the huge size difference between the two species, Peter!  You're doing a great job managing the exposure in this contrasty situation.  I wish the Snowy Egret was a little more focused but its still a great shot.
