Kiger Gorge Trail, Steens Mountain, Oregon. 

80% of full frame, selective sharpening of bird. (Note: the wildfire smoke was quite thick, and the light had a yellow/orange tinge. I set the white balance manually to try to manage it, but you can still see discoloration.)

Excellent, Jim.  I love the lichen on th the perch rock.  Very appropriate setting and good detail and pose.

I like your composition here Jim, especially with the typical habitat included.  I think the bird could benefit from a bit more contrast.
