Sunrise From The Porch

Hi Everyone!  I have not posted in about 4 months, but I am still here, and I even got to take a summer vacation.  Being retired, I suppose I am always on vacation, but my wife and I (both cancer patients now) have been occupied with surgeries, and other medical matters for months.  We finally got a break from that just in time for summer vacation with our grandchildren, culminating in a week with scattered family members together in a rented house on the beach in Delaware.  I have slacked off on "serious" nature photography for a while, but managed to get a few casual shots with my "vacation lens" once in a while.  Here's one of them.

Canon 7D Mark II;  Tamron 16-300 mm.
1/320 sec. @ f/7.1;  ISO 640
Handheld from the deck of the beach house.

Wayne, it's great to hear from you!  Best wishes for both you and your wife's medical challenges.  This is a lovely Eastern seaboard sunrise.  How great to enjoy it along with a cup of coffee from the porch.  The bands of color and texture look great.
