Town Pump

I revised the drip system for the small ponds in front of my blind and used bamboo for them.  It's pretty slippery for some birds, but they seem to figure it out pretty quickly.  I was watching them and decided putting another perch underneath would be a good idea.  This young Purple Finch was trying to figure it out and it didn't take long.  In this image, it was just checking it out.  I do need to get a better lower perch.
