Damsel Encounter

When the sun came out after a brief shower, this pair of damsels decided the time was right for reproductive activities. Moving slowly and on hands and knees, they allowed me to get quite close. This was taken around 13:00, so not the best light and not the best surroundings. I did like capturing the behavior.  Olympus E-M1 and 60 mm macro at f/8, 1/320 and ISO 100 handheld and cropped to about 2/3 original. Richard

Richard, the midday sun saturates the color of the male very well.  Getting both damsels (in the wheel position) nicely sharp looks good also.  The uniformity of the setting (it looks like sidewalk) adds to the emphasis on the pair.
