Beautiful bird with excellent detail against a great background. Either that's a very small bird or a very large bee!

Excellent detail and colors, Debapratim. And the warm colored nicely diffused BG is great. That catch is a real bonus and hearty meal for this little guy. Looks like your attractive perch and setup worked out well for you here. I would imagine that hide could get rather uncomfortable if not well ventilated. Beautiful and colorful image well executed..

Lovely detail and a gorgeous composition, Debapratim. The little curled tendril adds immensely to the image. Very well done.

Debapratim, your Chestnut-headed bee-eater image is simply wonderful to see. Interesting how the green and yellow colors carry through from the feathers to the bee and background. I agree with Dennis about the tendril, it adds just the right amount of whimsy without detracting from the bee-eater and its prey. Very nice!

Hi,
I enjoy looking at bird shots where the bird and prey are nice and sharp and I can clearly see what type of insect is in the bird's bill. The bee-eater has captured a clear winged moth (Sesiidae) which often mimic bees and wasps. Well done..........Jim

I love the little curled tree branch as much as the bird. It adds whimsy for me in relationship to the bird and his catch. Well captured.
