One of the few remaining barns from the histsoric Wolfsen Land & Cattle Company of San Francisco. They bought large tracts of land near Los Banos, CA to raise cattle for market in San Francisco.
I did some contrast and lighting on the barn, but left the sky. I feel the sky adds a dramatic feel to this image with the rain storm. Thanks for viewing and any comments.

Floyd: love the weathered character of the barn and how you've placed it against the menacing sky. The light, subject and composition make this photo definitely worthy of a place on your wall. My only minor suggestion would be to have a bit more of the bare ground at the bottom. Excellent otherwise. Richard

Floyd, your decision to leave the original sky was a good one, really adds to the drama. I agree that more foreground would give it a little better balance. Very pleasing angle on the barn, and that tin roof is wonderful. Thanks for posting.

Congrats on the double WP!
Great old barn and sweet skies - the metal rooves always bug me, but this one is nice and very interesting, with the rust streaks.
