Found this Eastern Painted Turtle sunning itself on a plank floating in the lily pond in Maine.
I put it in this Gallery because the "plank" was man made.

Love this shot. Painted turtles can be very skittish. The cut off plank is less than ideal, but I'd take this shot and be proud of it.
