This is a beautiful colorful creature, Balan, and nice BG. For me with macro, getting good focus and DOF right is the fun part. While normally I would prefer the complete DF, at least you got detail where it needed to be, and I certainly know the limitations of fixed FL. Considering 1/30th I assume this was on a tripod (?). Overall composition, the soft light and excellent BG make for a nice presentation. Well done !

Gorgeous subject and tack-sharp where it matters. Nice pose and BG.
Sweet!

Hi Balan,

Very nice colors on this damselfly. Your decision for using a limited DOF has worked well.......................Jim

The colors are very striking, Balan, as side benefit of overcast light is more saturated colors.  I like the comp with it's emphasis on color and detail.  The clarity of the eye and the spines on the legs is outstanding.
