These 3 white backed vultures seem to be too full to fly, as they sort of waddled away out of view.  Taken from a hide at the Zimanga Wildlife Reserve, SA.

Great lineup and extremely good detail in all three birds, John.  I like the composition, the eye contact and the background in this image.  Well done.

Excellent detail.  The faces look tack sharp to me.  They stand out well against the nice out of focus background.  Great job.

Terrific image!
Tack-sharp vultures, all in great poses.
I'd suggest cloning out the BG stork, though - it's distracting. Otherwise, the BG is a nice contrast and well-blurred
Sounds like you had a great trip and got some excellent images!

Excellent detail in the Vultures John.  I would also look at removing the Stork. It does pull your eye over to it.  If you do that and adjust the comp to center the three this will be really sweet!

Good stuff, John. Like Sandy, I think it works much better without the stork. Your repost by cropping rather than cloning works better to balance them into the center of the frame.

Love the pose of the three in this one John. I do find myself wishing for a touch more room on the right and less on the left (loosing the oof bird in the BG). If you don't have hte extra room on the right, I would probably clone out the stork. But nice techs as well on this!

Re-post is excellent - but a bit tight.
Still, well worthy of the EP - congrats!

Wonderful to get the three facing you John, and the light is gorgeous. The repost is a way better composition. Congrats in the EP!
