Found this one on my hard drive and it needed some tweaks to make it presentable.  Once I adjusted the white balance and contrast, I found that I liked the results.  K5 IIs 180 mm f3.5 (1/125 sec at f14, Iso 1250) Levels, White Balance, Midtone Contrast adjustment, Noise Reduction on BG.....................Jim

Good job on the tweaking Jim!  This is a quality image.  Excellent sharpness in the eye and throughout the frog, while keeping the background perfectly out of focus.  The only nit I have is cutting off the fingers at the bottom.  Not a big deal though - I like it a lot as is.

Hi Steve,

Thank you for checking out this guy. I have another image where the toes were cut off for sure.  This one has them all (most of the hindleg toes are hidden by the branch.).  I might be able to add a little more of the branch on the bottom as it is pretty tight on the bottom...................Jim

This is a good look at a small frog that makes a ton of noise all summer, but is very hard to spot.  The lichen covered tree is a great perch and the pose/comp. looks great, Jim.  I see all the toes here.

This is an excellent capture of this tree frog, Jim!  Wonderful detail, and a lovely perch and background. I see all of the toes too.

Nice job with the processing, Jim. The angle of light and colors of the frog really show off the textures in the skin. I thought they were larger, but about the same size as the green cousins that I find around here. I can imagine they're hard to spot considering their camouflage.

This was well worth the effort you put into it Jim. Exceptional detail throughout. Gotta see it large to appreciate it completely!
