A lovely composition, Sandy.  It looks like there's some motion blur even in the body and head at 1/500, but these small birds move so quickly.

WHAT A GREAT PHOTOdevildevildevil   I love everything about it....color, pose, crazy bird action, and, of course, the frame sets it off perfectly.  Well done!!!  A wonderful, well finished piece of artcrying

I do agree, that the motion blur could be sharpened a bit.  But, I wouldn't touch anything else.

It's hilarious, that he seems to be taking offense at the petal...so glad you didn't crop it out.  Reminds me of my bluebirds attacking their reflections in my windows.sad

Great image Sandy.  I like the inclusion of the pink flower, the expression of the bird and the catch eye.  What more can one ask for?

How adorable.  I love the expression.  It looks incensed or excited, not sure which.  I kind of like the slight softness that gives away how active it was.
