Here's a Bald Eagle banking over the Olympic Mountains photographed from the east side of Hood Canal, WA.  On sunny days you get some beautiful backdrops.

Always nice to get the mountains in the image to relieve the blue sky, Nate.  A very nice Eagle image that really shows off the wings and tail.

Love these kind of images, including some majestic scenery ! Maybe someday .. enlightened. Great how the wing dips into the mountain saddle. Excellent work ! Hans

I like this image with the Eagle perfectly positioned in the frame and the snowy ridge in the background.  Good detail and a very nice wing position.  And it's only 3 1/2 months until we have a repeat performance on Hood Canal.  Hopefully this year will be better than last year with respect to bird numbers.  Couldn't complain about the weather though last year.

Nate, nice to have the distant peaks included in the frame to break up the plain blue sky. Good capture of the banking flight position and full wing span.
