Officially a Yellow-rumped Warbler.  I've been trying to get a good image of a Chickadee on this perch for at least a week with no luck, but this character showed up yesterday and let me get about three frames.  Oddly this species likes tyo hang with the Western Bluebirds in the winter around here, but the snow we've had this weeks has caused the Bluebirds to seek better pickings elsewhere.  This one showed up at my feeder setup very briefly every day that I was out this week.  The background is oof snow.

7Dii, Sigma 150-600 C @ 388 mm, Jobu gimbal mounted to blind window, f/8, 1/8000, iso 2000 ( I changed my iso immediately after these shots), aperture priority, pattern metering, -2/3 EV.  Processed in LR & PS CC.  Cropped to 10 MP from a horizontal original.

Your comments and critiques are greatly appreciated.

Thanks for taking a look,

Well done Dennis!  I would not change a think about this image.  Good colors, details, pose and background.  Thanks for sharing.   Hope you get that chickadee photo!

Waiting for the chickadee but it will have to be quite spectacular to compete with this one.

Good job on the high key image.  Excellent pose and detail.   I'm guessing from looking at this that you actually got a lot more snow than we did.  Since these birds hang out with the Blue Jays and since I don't get Blue Jays in my area, I doubt I will see one here.
