We had an exceptionally severe winter (one that our friends in the north would consider balmy) and many of our plants were badly damaged. However these snowdrops seemed to thrive and asked me to shoot them this evening after work. I was most happy to accommodate. A first sign of approaching Spring. All comments welcome.>=))>

Snowdrops thrive in New England.  Yes, one of the first signs of spring... but not blooming in the Berkshires yet.  Nice presentation and the dew drops are a wonderful touch.  A little more brightness would work as well.

Good as is. I like the hint of mystery in the dark setting in these heralds of distant Spring.

Gorgeous, Bill!  Mine are just starting to bloom, too.  Hooray for Houston's weather (except for flooding!).

Bill

Have never seen these in Colorado.  How lovely and a lovely rendition of them!  I like it just as is too.

One of my favorite flower photo subjects, Bill, and very nicely composed and taken. Two thumbs up. devil

Well done Bill! I love the water on the pedals and the subtle background. Muted colors really work in this. Good work
