Thank you as always for your feedbacks on my previous image.
Finally, yesterday I had the opportunity to go out and taking pictures during a snowfall. It's been a great experience enjoying the nature and the silence. I was fascinated by the contrast between the falling snow and what remains of the orange larches' needles as a static background.
I am really looking forward to hear your comments and suggestions.

PS: I have a new (calibrated) wide gamut monitor and I am still struggling with the sRGB conversion, thus I am also curious what you think about colors rendition. Thank you.

The colors look fine to me on my calibrated monitor.  But as always, a lot can be up to the interpretation of the photographer in how they decided to process the raw.  Looks very natural.  Like the white on the tree branches and how it makes them stand out.  The trunks center almost separated the image into thirds.  The falling snow and exposure speed give a more choppy feel to the image on large view.  Wondering if you have longer exposures that might have streaking snow and allow less choppiness in the trunk portions.  Again, just the viewer and photographer's interpretation, so nothing is right or wrong.  I know I usually take a variety and go with an exposure that gets after the impression I wanted.

The composition looks good to me and so do the colors. The image could look a bit sharper. I suspect that is due to the high ISO but I'm not sure. I like the overall design very much. The faint yellow colors work very nicely with the bluish greens. For whatever reason, we expect image of trees and their branches to be razor sharp. This is a more impressionistic look at a forest and it works very nicely for me.

Wow, this is lovely, Mattia. The colors look very natural to me so I think you have your monitor calibrated. I really like the impressionistic feel to this with the streaking snow along with the light dusting on the trees. Did you happen to take any different exposures with varying SS for comparison? Great work on this one.

Everybody's said what I would have said, so I'll just say nicely done.

Mattia, I really like this image! It seems to put me right there and I can feel the snow and cold air. I like the look the way it is here and love the feel / mood it has. The color looks natural so I think your sRGB conversion is fine on this. Nice work!!
Glad you got some snow to go shoot in! cool

Thank you for your feedbacks. The impressionistic feeling is exactly what I want to convey with this image. It is for this reason that I choose this exposure speed compared to the many others I took cool

Mattia,

Love this! A beautiful scene with a beautiful dusting of snow.

Hard to be critical here, the processing is spot on.  The only suggestion I have would be a slight crop off the bottom to remove the stump and tops of what looks like some grasses.  and if you did that, maybe shaving off the left as well to remove the dark corner in the LL, but that's minor.

Beautifully seen!

I think this looks real nice. The detail is excellent, and the color looks spot-on, but it could use a tad more sharpening. I do agree with Lon's crop suggestion. The sweeping branches are wonderful.
