Mirrored Interaction

Thanks for your comments on my previous image.
During winter period I like going to a lake closed to where I live early in the morning. It has easily become a special place to me due to the reflections of the warm light on the mountains and the ice shapes of the lake. I am fascinated by this type of interaction between warm and cool colors and elements.
Any comments or suggestions are always appreciated.

Very ephemeral image. I like the contrast between cool and warm well enough, but I really like the fat "s" curve that delineates it!

This is very cool. I like the warm/cool tones and the S curve is great. Maybe burn the whitish reflection in the URC? I like this a lot.

The warm/cool color contrast works very well. I too love the S curve of the floe. I agree with regard to burning that spot in the upper right corner. Nice job with the exposure and the processing.

This is beautiful.  Add me to the list of fellow admirers of the warm/cold juxtaposition, as well as the beautiful curve of the ice edge that you composed.  My only wish would be to see just a little more foreground water to separate the mountain reflection from the bottom border.  I can see why it is a special place to you.

Mattia,

A wonderful reflection image.  As the others have commented, I love the graceful and gentle curve of the ice edge and of course thw warm to cool transition.

No nits really other than echoing what's already been mentioned.

I do find the trees and their reflection combined with the curve of the ice - to fascinating and was wondering if you have anything without the mountain reflection?  I do realize there is some distance to the top of the frame and the low angle isn't best for zooming on on those trees... just wanted to mention that those reflected trees are inviting!

Well seen and captured.

Mattia, this is an interesting and different composition that took me a moment to get my head wrapped around. Thanks for posting.

Nicely seen. The s curve in the ice is wonderful as is the mix of cool and warm tones. I agree with Harley on cloning or burning down the URC.

Thank you all for you comments. Lon, I tried something with only the reflected trees but the S curve did not work as good as in this one. But I do find them interesting as well. I will post something different with the mist and those trees soon.
