BEST VIEWED LARGE.

Thanks you for your comments on my previous images and your helpful suggestions.

This has been an unusually cold winter for the Florida panhandle, but it was a beautiful warm day this afternoon at Gulf Islands National Seashore near Pensacola Beach.

Comments, critiques, and suggestions for improvement are welcomed and greatly appreciated.

Beautiful color and wonderful light, Bill. The diagonal grasses make a nice lead in to that great sky. The textures in the sand are excellent. Nicely done!

Bill, a really impressive view. The soft color pallette makes the scene calm and very inviting. The FG grass provides a bit of scale to the wide open view. Gotta love that white sanitary looking sand too.....laugh

Love that bold aquamarine stripe running down the middle. Other than that it's a peaceful image. Nicely constructed with waves in the sand and clouds in the sky.

The blue, turquoise and white view is very attractive, Bill.  The textures in the sand and the grasses look great.  A fine beach scape.

Beautiful image, Bill. Very inviting. Nice job capturing the pattern in the white sand, and I like the matcing clouds.

Beautiful palette of soothing colors. Composition and processing look good. If I had a wish it would be for the ocean layer to be a bit more prominent.

Bill,

I was going to say that this image in no way evokes a feeling of cold! Quite the opposite, this makes me feel like I want to lay down a beach towel and just absorb the warm rays of sunshine - the extra Vitamin D is always good. ;-)

Beautiful, bright and vibrant beach scene.  You did a great job avoiding the 50/50 comp. Interestingly, the white sands, the ripples, texture,  and bunches of grass are still prominently displayed.  The sky is so appropriate and adds to the overall feeling of this scene.

Only small suggestion would be to clone out the one little white wave in the ocean.  And I like color contrast and presence of the water which nicely separates the two main elements of the scene.

A very pleasing and tranquil seascape.

Sweet. I really like the colors and those ripples in the sand. A very inviting and calming feel to tis, and a whole lot warmer than the +9 degrees F it is here at midday.
