Sandhill Interaction

After many times I've been to Bosque, this is the first where I've gotten two with a clean shot of their antics. Not sure but if I had to guess it's two males in a territorial dispute. I.Q. wasn't very good, so I added a little sharpness to the two as they were in a decent plane of focus. I boosted the exposure a little and cropped from RHS to exclude an OOF bird over there.

They look really good, Bill and I like the interaction.  It sure is tough to get a pair alone.  There always seems to be another that wants to step into the limelight.

I really think this is an excellent image Bill, but that third bird takes away a lot of the balance and focus for me.  If this were mine I would consider the tedious job of cloning out that bird.  Love the interaction here!

Very good detail in the 2 cranes, sharpness is right on!  Also like the color you have caught.  Too bad about the OOF bird.  For me just a minor distraction.  Thanks for sharing.

Nice behavioral image.  I have tried for this image many times and never got them all in the same focal plane.  Well done.  Could go brighter?

Great action shot, Bill - and so much fun to see them display and dance and what have you. Cheers, Hans

Bill: very good behavioral photo and the pose and detail are good. IQ looks pretty good to me. Richard

Appreciate the comments. I tried a cloned version, but the third one is likely a family member, so I didn't mind the soft focus.
