This is the full version of my last post that contained only the right-most of these two snow geese.  I am interested in which one you feel is more effective in terms of composition.  Techs listed with previous post.  Thanks.

At the first glance, the other image has more immediate impact, Jim.  However, I do like this one, and I think that printed large it would be quite effective.  I would suggest that you give it a touch of CCW rotation and maybe crop from the bottom for a pano presentation as the dark bands along the bottom don't add to the feel of the image for me.

I saw your first and liked it, but for me this works better. Including both gives it more context. It would be interesting to know how the original was cropped. If there's more room RHS I think it would improve the look.

Thanks Dennis and Bill for your comments.  Here is a version cropped from the bottom, with extra canvas added on the right (to keep the right hand bird a bit further from the edge), and to the top, giving a little extra sky.

At first glance at both images I was inclined to favor the first post of the solitary goose.  In looking at the repost of this image, and seeing you took Dennis and Bill's advice, this repost is a stronger image for me.

The revised post is my favorite.  The rotation, crop and space on the right all serve to strengthen the composition IMO.  I have the blind at Sac Refuge next week.  Hoping for some sun and a south wind.

When taking into consideration all three of these images, the second post here is my favorite.  The warm composition with perfect wing position and the panoramic view really add to my enjoyment of this image.  It creates a very pleasing mood for me.  Well done.
