Hey everyone! I'm so stoked to finally share some photos from my trip this past summer to Yellowstone. Anyone who has ever been to Yellowstone knows that one of the things you are guaranteed to see are Bison. There is no short supply of Bison in Yellowstone, they are simply everywhere. I know I got stuck in a few "Buffalo Jams" on the roads while I was there. Though that's frustrating when you are trying to get somewhere for dawn or evening light, I still love it, as it's an experience I don't get anywhere else.
I was in the Lamar Valley photographing in the beautiful dusk light one evening. I had been listening for wolves, which I had heard almost every night I was in the Lamar, but unfortunately no photo opportunities this time. I had noticed these Bison slowly grazing towards an area that had a great backdrop. I stood with my camera waiting, and then finally captured the moment I was waiting for, which is pictured here. I am so happy it turned out the way it did.
Thank you for looking! Let me know what you think.
