Fall on the River
by Craig Moreau
After my early October trip up to northern New England, I was able to take advantage of the late fall color back home in Connecticut. I got some nice mist on the river, and a nice relaxing morning. This one was taken about 15 minutes before sunrise. Looking forward to any comments and critiques!

I'm totally with Nick on this. This is wonderful. The fact that the autumn color is well past peak AND that the color is an accent to the scene and NOT the story of the image makes this image unique and refreshing. This is about the river, the flow of the water among the rocks, the hovering mist AND the soft beautiful light. In fact, the light striking the rocks is just beautiful.
Again like Nick, I'm just sitting back and enjoying this. I have no nits or suggestions. A gorgeous image deserving of a large print.

Patricia, no getting my feet wet, this vantage point is accessible from shore and is about 15 feet above the river!
Dan, just out of frame in the upper left is a blank wall of fog that I wanted to exclude here. I will be posting some other frames where that area is shown, though, along with the left shore.
