Sony A77
Sony DT 16-50 f2.8
ISO 200 HDR
After working this up as an HDR there were a few places that were just soft enough that I decided not to post as a straight shot. Only filter on this one was oil paint. Please view large. All comments welcome.>=))>

Bill,  I really like the natural-looking tones of your image and its orientation that emphasizes the dramatic curves of the sandstone walls.  I'm guessing that it was taken at Upper Antelope Canyon, a place that I would love to visit again if I ever get over the unpleasant experience of being herded through the canyon like cattle in a roundup.  cheeky

The subtle oil painting effect gives the sandstone a pleasing texture... just enough and not too much.  I'm enjoying the images from your trip.

The filter goes so well with the curves and texture of the stone.  The image without any filter would have been good too, I bet.  Too bad about the softness.  The comp is really well framed.
