Autumn Dusk

A time of transformation - the almost bare tree leaning to the comforting warmth of the foliage at the left made for an appealing balance to me. I especially enjoyed the serenity of this scene at dusk. The image was taken in vineyards close to Lake Neusiedl in the eastern part of Austria at the end of October last year.

Comments and critique are appreciated.

The colourful tree would have made an engaging subject on its own but I like the story you tell of the seasons in transition here. The colour in the vineyards in the background are a nice touch too.

I am really liking your composition, with the warm vs stark trees. Works well and makes for a real fine image. Well seen and executed.

A very natural scene with natural colors. This image, to me, looks stronger with the dark grey background in the large version. Yes, it comes alive in the large version. More luminous somehow. Very beautiful in that version. It made me connect with what excited you about this subject.

Well seen and nicely taken.  I do like the colors of the tree, but would like to see the sky just a bit darker.  I like this style of composition.  Thanks for sharing.
