Sony A77II
Sony 70-400G @ 70mm
ISO 800, 1/320 @ f11
Denali NP, Alaska
One of the highlights of our trip to Alaska was a flightseeing tour with the doors off the plane so that I could have an unobstructed view of the passing landscape. It made for a cold ride and some interesting settings on the camera as I tried to make adjustments with light gloves on and the constant vibration and jostling of the plane. I certainly did not need f11 for this shot but I had enough shutter speed and stabilization in the camera to give me a sharp image. This is the main road into the park interior. I was drawn to the colors and textures of the tundra and the scrub pine hill side. All comments welcome. >=))>

Great sense of depth and scale in your image for me, Bill. You especially give me a sense of the vastness of the scene. The diverse diagonals and curves work well together to my eye.

The curve of the road makes for a nice focal point to the colourful canvas.
