That little fly looks like it's about to take off, Ian. The fly's sharpness in the midst of all this yellow lets it stand out very well. It a view that has me grinning and thinking of summer.

Great macro shot of this little hoverfly. I really like the way he stands out agains the bright yellow daisy. Nicely done. It is worth looking back into our archives sometimes.
