A shot for preventing the beauty of the Epiphyllum flower to die soon.

D800E, Nikkor 200mm macro - f/22 and ISO 400.

Thanks for your appreciated opinions and advices.

This is beautiful Gigi. I love the delicate and intricate petals and pistil and stamens. Your lighting is really nice too. I kind of expected some blurring from wind but this is nice and sharp and very detailed.

Beautiful...I love the subdued tones and the softer approach with the nice light in the bg...very sexy but still calming.

The delicate, almost translucent, petal structure, the lighting, and the subtle colors in the background all blend to make a striking image.  I've often attempted to take this flower, but never came close to this presentation.  Congratulations on another winner.

A beautiful presentation.  You've captured the delicate nature of the flower nicely.  I like the composition and high key background.

The flower is up to your usual high mark, Gigi. The translucence, the sense of movement are very evocative. The heavy stem, well, I wsh it were as delicate, but it is what it is. The flower more than carries the day on this one. Gorgeous image!devil
