Beautiful.  Great pose and detail and I like the contrasting background and the mossy perch.

Really well made, David. Colors, comp, details and noise well processed. I can't find anything to gripe about at all!devil
I just bought DxO optics Pro 11, and spent the afternoon and evening learning what I could. Have you any source of tutorials that you are using?

Excellent composition, David.  From the looks of that moss, it hadn't started to dry out yet when you took this.  The pose really works well with the perch and where the bird is placed on it.

Excellent, David. The feather detail is superb. Would like to know more about the software.

Great perch and composition.  I've only seen one House Finch in person and didn't know they came in pink. :)

David

This is just too lovely!  I had no idea house finches came in pink.  Thank you for including the information on the noise reduction software.  I had not heard of that one and now plan to try it out. Certainly did a great job on this ISO 5000 pic.

Best
Kathy
