Hovering Hummer

This Hummingbird was definitely going for the Chinese lantern Blossom. Caught him hovering looking for suitable hook up point. I took some unnecessary sticks out of the background to make the hummingbird and flower stand out.

A fine catch, Ry.  Kudos for the hummer in flight nicely sharp.  The flower adds interest and makes for a nicely balanced composition.

Excellent capture, Ry.  The lighting on the back of the hummer really brings out the colors of her feathers.  I also like the way the hummer is hovering in basically the same "line of curve" with the flower.  Nicely done.

Nice shot of this hummer.  I do have a bit of a problem with the BG.  I seem to see a lot of cloning marks or color noisewink
