PLEASE VIEW LARGER VERSION FOR BETTER DETAIL.

First, thank you for your comments and suggestions on my previous image.  Your comments help me grow as a photographer.  This is just a simple scene I converted to B&W because I liked the tones.  I hope you enjoy it.

Comments, critiques, and suggestions always welcomed!  Thanks for looking!

I am with you Bill, I am also really enjoying the tones and the detailed scene. This could have been chaotic, but your composition nicely parses out a coherent image that I am very much liking.

I really enjoyed the large view of this intimate, Bill.  The tones are spot on.   There is a very bright spot about a third of the way up on the left side that caught my eye and could easily be cloned.  Small matter on a very nice image.

Beautiful range of tones, and lovely composition. You did a fine job extracting order from chaos, and the black and white treatment lends itself well, here. Nicely done!

This is a nice study of lines and shapes in b&w. The large version shows the tone richness much better. Harley would refer to this as controlled chaos. I think cloning out the whit diagonal branch in lower center may add a bit of order to this image.

Bill,

Definitely about the tones here and yes this is an example of bring order from chaos.  For me and what I'm seeing, I might consider a fairly good crop from the top eliminating the bright trunk in the UR quadrant.  Not so much for removing that, but my first thought was to bring some emphasis to the cat tails(?) at the bottom.  I really like all their lines, opposing angles, etc. and I think they compliment the other vegetation bring some variet and also helping to bring order.  Not sure if any of that makes sense.
