Lets see...Skull peak, peeking through the clouds....enlightened  It's a beauty, Harley, with some fine textures in the foregound peaks and a glorious sky.  You've handled (shown off) the textures in the clouds wonderfully,

Nice Harley.  The light and shadow on the mountains are perfectly complimented by the sweet sky.  Makes a very nice b/w image.  Beautiful.

This is your best image of the trip so far. You got the right amount of clouds in the right locations and they look so 'full'. The shadows below add a lot to the landscape which is rich in detail and has some good dark tones. The gaps of blue sky break up the sky nicely. The only change I would suggest would be to clone out the really bright cloud peaking over the ridge center left. It really draws the eye. I really like the dark ridge in the lrc. I think it adds a lot.

Harley,

Just to show how diverse our opinions can be... and I often agree with Igor critiques, but for me, this is my least favorite of your recent AK landscapes.  That's not to say that I don't like it. In fact it's a wonderful b&w landscape.  The clouds are terrific and I really like the light and shadow play on the mountains.

The foreground isn't adding anything, but you made a good decision on including only enough to somewhat anchor the scene.
The little arrow-like patch of bright snow on the right is mildly distracting.

Wish I could be more specific as to why it's not my favorite.  Still a fine b&w land/cloudscape.

The large view is a whole new world, I hope people look at them!
Very nice processing, a lot of tones in this black and white.
The bright white cloud at the ridge line needs to be turned down a bit for me.

Harley, maybe not as dynamic as your previous posts from the trip, but still a very solid image. I think this one would be based more for the cloud formations then anything to do with the mountain range. However, the one peak, Skull?, in the BG has some wonderful definition to it with the resulting light at that moment. I might burn down that one cloud there as it tends to drag the eyes away, but hardly any big deal there at all. Once again the B&W treatment works best IMO......laugh

Another nice shot from this trip and I really like the contrast in the sky with the white clouds.  The processing looks good to me, too. Nicely done.

The large image is a must on this shot.  It really illustrates the scale involved.  The tones and and textures, especially in the clouds look wonderful.
