Nice alert pose and excellent control of the bright yellows despite what looks like fairly harsh light. Well done.

While the yellow does seem bright, the detail in these tones is superb especially in the large image. Nice pose and background.

The bright yellow on the face does not bother me at all. That's what the bird has been blessed with, and who are we to tone it down? My eye, however, wanders to the bent twig in the bottom rhc; would you consider cloning it out? I'd like to hear your views on it.

Thanks Dennis, David and Ajit.
Ajit, I could go either way on cloning out the branch on the right, where it intersects with the main branch would be some work. I have one version that I cropped tighter where I cropped it out.

Nice catch, Nate - lovely little bird. Personally I like the cropped version better here ! Best, Hans

I, too, much prefer the cropped version, Nate.
