Chickadee & Repost

Chestnut-backed Chickadee from this afternoon at my little copse pond.  I've been pretty busy lately, so I've been kind of neglecting it, but I happened to see a nice warbler in it yesterday and that inspired me to spend a little time there today.  The warbler I wanted didn't come back, but the CBCHs were out in force for awhile and this one seemed to want to be all fluffed up.  It didn't show any signs of sickness or distress-just dishevelment.

7Dii, Sigma 150-600 C @ 600 mm,  tripod with ballhead and Sidekick, f/7.1, 1/320, iso 1600, aperture priority, pattern metering, -1 EV.  Processed in LR & PS CC.  Cropped to 13 MP before resizing.  I dimmed some bright areas on the left side of the frame.  Taken at 12:57 pm under sunny skies though the bird was partially shaded by the fir trees.

Your comments and critiques are always appreciated.

Thanks,

So, so, so, so adorable.  If I had nature photos on my walls I'd definitely want this one.  Beautiful.

After posting this it seemed a bit dark, so I went back and boosted the exposure on the bird a bit.  Click on the image for a larger version.
