Gulls can be tough to identify, so you've got to love the Heermann's Gull with the red bill.

Nice focus and color palette. Looks like he's gonna catch that little crumb.

A really nice low angle and excellent detail, Allen. Any idea what the tidbit might be?

A very good seeing all image sandwiched between two layers of sand with the water and gull in between. Nice texture and color balance. It seems to me that seagull pictures don't always get a lot of respect. Well, I like this one.

I like gulls and this is a very nice one, Allen! Nice action pose and the little tidbit of food is a special little bonus.

Hi Allen,
Looks like the gull has a sand flea. I like the color scheme and the pose of your subject. Looks pretty cool and it is nice that some gull species are easy to identify............................Jim
