Rural - WC 805

7/24/17, Ness County, KS, Laird elevator. I followed the setting sliver moon, moving down the road to keep the moon between the elevators.

Another rural classic, the elevator.  Rob, this is a great take on an elevator with the sunset sky behind, the touch of man made light in the center and the setting sliver of a just past new moon.  Your planning and execution for this were excellent.

Excellent work here Rob with working the scene to your advantage. The structures alone in this light were worth the photo. But, the moon is truly a neat addition to this rural landscape scene......laugh

Very cool light on this image.  And the shapes from the structures are fascinating with the moon in the middle.  Well seen.

A great new look at a classic subject.  I would not change a thing.  Well seen.  Thanks for sharing.

Makes me think Star Wars for some reason Rob. This is really cool with the light in between the elevators and the moon gives it an out of this world look. Love it!

Beautiful, Rob.  I love the way you positioned the moon and the afterglow in the sky.

What a cool shot.  The lighting and the structures make for a great shot, but the moon puts it over the top.

That is splendid. For one thing, it's a rather unique take on the "rural" theme. The setting moon and the illuminated part of the building -- genius touches. Well done!

Thank you for the comments. I hadn't thought about it, but the equipment below the moon does have a Star Wars feel.

This is an awesome, well planned out shot!devil   You might consider removing the noise, though.
