In Marche near San Marino at the Agriturismo where we stayed.  The owner ran an import export business in San Marino, a notable tax haven surrounded by Marche in east central Italy.    San Marino is one of the last tiny independent republics (Like Monaco, Luxembourg,  and the Grand Duchy of Fenwick) left in Europe.  He raised pigs, grew olives and lived well.  His place was quite inexpensive and very comfortable.

David, as a dog person my whole life I did not have a cat until several years ago when I took in a GREAT feral cat. He was much like a dog and would come to me when I called him. Sadly, after 4 years he came down with cancer and passed away. However, I've got another shelter adapted cat and he is wonderful too. He and our dog get along very well.

This guy here has a bit of large rat look to him. Not as a bad comment, just the way he appears is different and a slinky look. Maybe he is trying out his imitation in attempt to lure the real ones into range.....sad
